911 Memorial In New York city September 11, 2001, at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday an American Airlines Boeing 767 flew into the north tower of the World Trade Center. The plain left a burning hole in the 110-story skyscraper, instantly killing and trapping hundreds of people. The twin of that tower 18 minutes later had a second Boeing 767 fly through it. Leaving the city of New York devastated. The collision caused a massive explosion that showered both burning buildings in debris and the streets below. This was thought to be terrorist attack.
