Reflection: I agree with this quote because you don't always have to win to be right as long as you stay right or stay with anyone that is right then you won't have to win to be right. Also winning isn't always a good thing if you win the wrong way or for the wrong reasons.

April Fool’s Day

April Fool’s Day is on the first day of April. April Fool’s Day is for having fun and playing pranks on friends and family. There are a few theories as to precursors to the holiday tradition. Hilaria, a Roman festival, which celebrated Cybele, an Anatolian goddess, was celebrated around March 25^th. The Pros of April Fool’s Day is playing funny pranks on people for fun and the Cons are getting pranked and not having fun being the one pranked.

Reflection: I agree with this quote because it is better to have good character and be a good, nice person, than to be a smart mean or have bad character. Being a good person is more important than being a smart one, and people will like you for your character more than your intellect.

A Photographer is a person who’s job is to take pictures/photography of a scene or emotion, and could also take crime scene photos and sell their photographs through display. They can also work for the paparazzi or advertisement, news companies and newspaper, weddings, graduations and more.  They also sell their photographs to companies, greeting cards, products, websites and magazine covers. Photographers can make a contract with the company buying a photo and charge the amount they want to be paid and they can also decide how long and where that photo can be used.

Reflection: I agree with this quote because if you do what's wrong you can have your freedom taken away, and if you do what's right you can keep your freedom and independence.

1.     Canada: Regional Sales Manager, full time/part time this is a good career because it’s a nice job and it’s in Canada.

2.     Japan: Semiconductor Foundry Engineer, this is also a nice career because you get to be responsible for yield enhancement and problem solving within the company.

Reflection: I would not like to work in another country because i would rather work here in the United States and i would not want to be in another country.

Earth Quakes

The risk of a major earth quake hitting California in the next 30 years has risen dramatically, scientists said using improved forecasting techniques. "The likelihood that California will experience a magnitude of 8 or larger earth quake in the next 30 years has increased from about 4.7 percent.....to about 7.0 percent," said the US Geological Survey. "This is a significant advancement in terms of representing a broader range of earth quakes throughout California's complex fault system."

St. Patrick’s Day

1.     Saint Patrick was a 5^th-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland known as the “Apostle of Ireland”, he is the primary patron saint Ireland, along with saints Brigit and Columba.

2.     The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.

3.     Saint Patrick’s day is cultural and religious celebration held on March 17, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick.

4.     The color green has been associated with Ireland since at least the 1640s, when the green harp flag was used by the Irish Catholic Confederation.
